Terri Guillemets Archives — 1980s
This is the archive of my publicly published writing from the 1980s — the good, the bad, the active and the retired. Some entries were originally untitled with a title added later, and some were first published under other pen names.

Life is a dance of balance.
Life is creative falling.
Life is half spent getting back up.
Life is learning to dance with a partner —
and learning to dance without a partner,
and letting go enough to dance in the crowd.
Life is a freestyle jig.
Life is a twirl and a bow.
Life is the best dance you've ever danced
and the only chance you'll get, so dance!
Death is your dancing soul returning to the heavens.

NOTES: In high school I wrote a short story about a future in which there was a major drought and as part of the water restrictions, leg shaving was forbidden. My main character, Alexis, invented a dry adhesive glitter rub that women could apply to their legs to glam up the hair so that they could still feel pretty.
