A Spectrum Rooted in the Seasons
Chartreuse whispers, jade unfurling,
Verdant veins in tender light,
Emerald breath, the pulse of May,
A green world newly written.
Bottle green shadows, moss soft shade,
Viridian canopies thick with song,
Olive dusk and sage scented air,
The forest holds its fullness.
Amber dawn, marigold blaze,
Saffron edges on the turning wind,
Persimmon flames, aureate crowns,
The year begins to burn.
Scarlet maples, vermilion fire,
Crimson rivers through garnet hills,
Mulberry dusk, claret glow,
The earth dressed in farewell.
Russet oaks, tawny fields,
Brick red veins and sepia sighs,
Mahogany dusk, chestnut hush,
Leaves fall like whispered prayers.
Umber bones, bitter chocolate earth,
Ash and shadow, the forest bare,
Feuille morte, the last refrain,
Until green dreams return.
